Made up of 28,054 coins, some fifty jewels and precious objects, it is one of the most important treasures found in France. The museum collections tour invites you to dive into Antiquity: statues, architectural decorations, objects restored in their context tell you about the life of the ancient city of Elusa some 2000 years ago.

The Archaeological Museum/Le Trésor d'Eauze is part of ELUSA Antique Capital. A unique and unique collection of 3 exceptional sites: young and old are invited to discover the secret of aristocratic residences, within the territory of the ancient city of Elusa. The Domus de Cieutat (urban house) offers an essential complement to a visit to the Villa de Séviac (house in the countryside), while the rich collections of the Archaeological Museum / Le Trésor d'Eauze (Musée de France) illustrate its refinement. To start your visit, go to the ELUSA Interpretation Centre in the ancient capital of ELUSA at Domus de Cieutat. Gateway to Elusa's heritage, this space will allow you to discover the scale of the ancient city through a modern and playful scenography.

Not far from the cathedral you will find this museum (previously a bank with a big vault) ; the biggest roman coins treasury found in the country is there.
