    • On the outskirts of the medieval village of Saint-Clar whose listed market halls have made its reputation. La Mirande benefits from a dominant view of the valley of the Arratz river, all the rooms offer a superb view! With a magnificent environment, the place is conducive to rest in a historic setting.. With a magnificent environment, the place is conducive to rest in a historic setting.

Light is omnipresent at Mirande. The thick stone walls, combined with ecological materials, both thermal and acoustic, create a natural atmosphere in the house and flood all the rooms with light.

A mirande (from the Latin 'mirari' – to take pleasure in looking –) is the upper part of a house, with a bay which allows you to see and observe the valley. This is typical for the rich southern architecture.

La Mirande is a kaleidoscope made up of multitudes of views such as spectacular sunrises, storms and their dazzling lightning, unexpected rainbows, and morning mists revealing the valley. You will be speechless and will never forget having witnessed this spectacle that nature offers you.

La Mirande is not only the house with the panoramic view, it is also the house with multiple terraces. When we started the renovation, we only had two terraces: the 'house terrace' and the 'fig tree terrace'.

Between the beginning and now, we are spoiled for choice: cozy terrace, morning terrace, rest terrace. Even at the entrance to the garden we have a small terrace. So, your eyes will never stop admiring.

The infinity pool gives us the impression of infinity, it's as if we were swimming in the valley. Naturally cleansed water is extremely pure.

If swimming requires too much effort, the spa provides the perfect answer to “what to do when you have nothing to do”. It is the perfect place to catch your breath while admiring the sunset and enjoying your aperitif.
