The Valley and the Coteaux de la Lauze is a large area classified as “ Natura 2000 ”. It stretches between the rivers of Gimone, Lauze and Arrats . This valley is typical of the Astarac region. In ancient Gascony, it corresponds to the south of Gers and to the north of the Hautes-Pyrénées. It is very hilly, crisscrossed with streams and has characteristic vegetation. During your walks, you will cross areas of moors, oak forests and meadows. In particular, you will come across delicate spring orchids, flown over by a multitude of butterflies. If you're patient, you might spot a few rare crayfish in the streams.
