House Ardure: Charming guest house near Lectoure in the Gers
Florence and Michel welcome you to their charming guest house, locatedin Terraube in the Gers near Lectoure. In this superb typical Gascon residence several hundred years old (a former farmhouse of the castleofe Terraube), you will enjoy staying in one of the fully restored suites or guest rooms. It is an elegant and soothing universe, the promise of an authentic and relaxing stay at the same time. Florence and Michel arrived in the Gers in 2002, they fell in love with this attractive, calm and pleasant region. They appreciate the friendliness and hospitality of Gers, which they are keen to share with their guests.
Guest rooms at House Ardure
The one hectare park enjoys a superb view of the Lomagne countryside and the Pyrenees chain in good weather. You will enjoy walks in this rejuvenating nature. To stay, 4 rooms and 1 suite are at your disposal. All rooms have a WIFI connection, a courtesy tray, a television, air conditioning and a walk-in shower.
The “La Part des Anges” Suite is spacious and bright with an area of 50m2. It is on the 1st floor and consists of 3 rooms on 2 levels. It is a family suite for children over 6 years old and teenagers because a spiral staircase gives access to the bedroom with twin beds (provided with a shower room and WC). The master bedroom with its double bed is attached to the living room (and another shower room), a place of relaxation for everyone.
The "Portes de Lomagne" room (also for children over 6 years old) is a duplex on the 1st floor of the guest house. The double bedroom benefits from a superb cathedral ceiling with exposed beams. A quality sofa bed is installed in the living room on the mezzanine and it is possible to connect this bedroom to another located on the lower floor to benefit from a triplex for 5 people (with therefore 2 shower rooms).
The "Opaline" room is on the ground floor and has a large bay window opening onto the park. With its turquoise tones harmoniously mixed with the golden stone, it is a place of relaxation and very calm. You can enjoy a soft and natural atmosphere by sitting on one of the sunbeds outside in the garden. A lounge area is furnished with an armchair and television.
The "Plume d'Oie" room is on the 1st floor, it is large and bright, decorated in cream tones. It has a double sink, a large walk-in shower and a lounge.
The "Belladone" room is on the ground floor, it is accessible to people with reduced mobility, both in the bedroom and in the bathroom, with shower chair and support bars. This room is labeled Tourism and Handicap for motor, hearing and mental disabilities.Services offered by House Ardure
The rooms are all independent, and you will also have several common areas, for the well-being and conviviality within the Guest House.
A playful common area is available in the old barn, with an American billiard table, a living room with sofa, television, books... An Armagnac barwill allow you to taste, with the precious advice of your hosts, delicious local wines and understand all the complex flavors.
A wellness area will allow you to relax during your stay at House Ardure. A jacuzzi and a mosaic hammam are at your disposal (upon reservation for a one-hour private session). Also take advantage of the gym, with an elliptical trainer, a weight tower and dumbbells. A body care practitioner will offer you massages (to be booked in advance) and foot reflexology treatments.
The House Ardure has a magnificent heated swimming pool, with two pleasant beaches in the middle of nature to unwind and relax after a day of sightseeing. The beach is accessible to people with reduced mobility (but there is no ramp in the swimming pool). You will enjoy strolling in the flowery park to admire the superb panorama over the Gers countryside and Lomagne.
This guest house is an environmentally friendly place, so you will find a terminal for charging electric vehicles. It is possible to rent electric mountain bikes for your stay. Florence and Michel invite you to their guest table. Several formulas are available to taste the delights of the gastronomy of Gers and Gascony. They offer you Gourmet Stays, where you can 3 evenings a week, enjoy a delicious meal made by them with artisanal or homemade products. Meat from the farm, vegetables from the kitchen garden of the house, flavored with herbs from the garden, accompanied by the discovery of wines from the region, but also Armagnacs and Floc de Gascogne. Breakfast is one of the times when you can eat with relish in the morning! Whether you prefer sweet or savory, everything is generous and homemade, served with conviviality.
