2) Camping le Néri, in Mauroux

At Camping le Néri, authenticity and friendliness reign supreme. The owners take great care of their visitors and live up to the warm and welcoming reputation of the Gersois. It is a campsite where regulars like to meet year after year for its festive and friendly atmosphere, its calm and natural environment, and its joyful entertainment by the pool, at the bowling alley or during theme evenings...

In Mauroux, La Ferme des Étoiles is one of the 8 best sites in the world for observing the stars, according to the Guide du Routard. In an area, protected from any light pollution, you will contemplate an exceptional sky during dinners, courses or stays. In the town, the Escalavès leisure center has slides, a beach designed to facilitate swimming and rental of pedal boats, SUPs, buoys, jet skis… Just opposite, there is an animal park : the Vallon des Kangourous. Nearby, Saint-Clar-de-Lomagne is the capital of white garlic, which you will find on the surrounding markets.

3) The Marciac Lake Campsite

Camping du Lac Marciac is a welcoming, rural campsite nestled in the beautiful Gers countryside with a hint of Gascony. You're well-situated for exploring the fortified town of Marciac, less than a kilometer away. Make yourself at home in one of the 71 pitches spread across 3 hectares of greenery. Ideal for those traveling in tents, there are 21 specially designated pitches, overlooking the Pyrenees mountain range in the distance.

• The little extra : Don't want to go camping in a tent, or don't have a camper van? Come and enjoy the rentals in a mobile home or in one of the pretty wooden chalets, or one of the pretty bucolic cabins. You will appreciate the kindness of the campsite managers, the James couple, always at your service and available to give you good advice on visits in the region.

4) The Ile du Pont campsite, in Mirande

In the natural balcony of the Pyrenees, Camping Île du Pont is truly a paradise on an island, in the middle of the Baïse. In a bucolic setting, chalets, mobile homes and bare pitches for tents or camper vans await you for a stay in a different way. On site, you have playgrounds, sports fields, inflatable structures... At the exit of the campsite, you can have fun in the large Ludina water park, with slides and several pools. You can also rent a canoe and sail on the river.

The region offers some very beautiful villages to visit: the fortified town of Mirande, the hilltop village of Montesquiou, Barran and its unusual spiral bell tower and Marciac, the town of jazz.

5) The Camping le soleil du gers, in Lelin-Lapujolle

Camping le Soleil du Gers is the ideal place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Enjoy a moment of relaxation and stretch out by the pool or cast a few lines by the private pond, and you'll be lulled by the birdsong. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed! Except on lively summer evenings, when you'll have the opportunity to let off steam on the dance floor, play games, or watch a great show.

In Viella, the Jardins d'Aure offer a stroll through the vineyards, which is educational, instructive and fun. If you prefer a more sporty outing, Nogaro is renowned for its Landes races, its car racing circuit and its Armagnac rail bike. You will also find a Raptor Park there to discover these majestic birds. Not far away, in Bétous, you can stroll in the " Remarkable Gardens " of the Palmeraie du Sarthou.

South of Monclar, Camping Les Lacs de Courtès is a 3-star campsite at the gateway to the Landes region, perfect for a great stay with family or friends. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, there are plenty of activities on offer for young and old alike. The campsite has a fishing lake for those who want to try their luck at fishing, as well as two swimming pools (one of which is heated and covered) and a paddling pool for children, mini-golf and a multi-games area, children's play areas, an educational farm with pony rides, and more.

As for accommodation, the campsite is located in a natural and green setting, the pitches are large for holidaymakers who come in tents, camper vans or caravans. It is also possible to take advantage of the rentals : chalets, mobile homes, if you do not have any equipment but you want to benefit from the atmosphere and entertainment of the campsite! Note that Les Lacs de Courtès is open all year round !
