Estate tours and tasting workshops from father to son

Château Le Courrejot offers various tours that allow enthusiasts and the curious to discover the secrets of distillation. Tasting workshops offer a special moment to appreciate the complex aromas of Armagnac. These sessions are often accompanied by detailed explanations by the owners of the estate, Vincent and Patrick, on the different types of grape varieties used, as well as on barrel aging, which plays a crucial role in the development of flavors.

Wonderful and very special! The son of the owner showed us around and is a young destillateur and a decent and ambitious expert. The Armagnac won more then own price and the tasting forced us 😉 to buy more then one of the magnum bottles and smaller ones. The whole place is far away from what you would expect from such a high levelled specialty: Absolute unpretentious, down to earth and lying back in a beautiful corner of the countryside!!!! Michelinstar would say: a Must!! Good luck from us and stay just who and what you are, what could become a challenge. Because success is on your side.

A beautiful, peaceful setting for a small family-run Armagnac distillery. We emailed in advance to confirm when we could visit. On the day of our visit, there was nobody who spoke English but we managed okay with our limited ability in French. We saw their distillery operation, had a free tasting, and purchased their 29-year-old Armagnac for a very good price! There is a spectacular wild flower meadow at their property.

Combined with our visit to the "Grand Chapitre Compagnie des Mousquetaires d'Armagnac" in Condome, we also visited Chateau Le Courréjot. A small family business where Father and Son talk very enthusiastically about their products. During the visit, we met Mousquetaires from England and were surprised to learn that Patrick Giacosa (the father) is a Mousquetaire of the détachement Ile de France. Combined with good Armagnac and lots of stories, this was a great visit.
